I had the most horrible afternoon, running around town trying to get my benefits squared away and making sure that my mail was indeed coming to where it should be. I still can't get ahold of DSS to get my food stamps taken care of and I had to stop before I drive myself to an anxiety attack.
So right now, I'm taking like smaller balls of yarn, and winding them into larger balls of yarn, that way they'll (hopefully) be easier to store and find when I need them. And while I do my mind is occupied with the history channel series the universe.
I love the universe, its my favorite history program besides "life after people." I love the Universe because the best episodes are a "mind fuck" that is to say it screws with your head, and your imagination. My favorite episodes are ones like "Parallel universes" "Alien faces" and "Cosmic Apocalypse" that venture heavily into theoretical science and usually end with a surprise that becomes an existential "ZOMFG, what the f--k woah? My mind just got blown." Its totally awesome.
